today will be the last day i'll be in china. woke up at 730, packed our stuffs and wait for mr ma the come and weigh it. had fired rice as breakfast and lunch. reach wuhan international airport at 1230. check in at 1345 and flight take off at 1515. when we reached guang zhou, it was 31 degree and we had to check in immediately as the flight to singapore was 1 1/2 hours away. finally we reached singapore, the feeling was very good. took some group photos and went off to buy beers and stuffs. after having our stuffs picked up, we went off straight away to find our parents and home sweet home~

woke up early in the morning today to rushed to somewhere near yellow crane tower to buy some things for relatives and have steak for lunch at the same time. took 901 to somewhere near IT mall and transfer bus to 608 to yellow crane tower. missed to bus stop and was lost. so we went around to look for bus stop and bus which will bring us to yellow crane tower. took bus number 1 in the end. arrived at the shopping mall at 10am. many shops there was not open yet so we went to have breakfast. go to the steak house at 1230pm and took cab back to school at 2pm as we have to assemble outside the school at 3pm to take photo. social interaction at 6pm and fireworks at 730pm. today will be the second last day for me in china!! we will be leaving this school at 11am! woo~ haha.

1. from this trip, i want to learn to be more independent, social and adaptable. firstly, i want to be independent is because i think by living myself and just with some friends is fresh as my family is not around with me. there will be nobody to wash clothes, cook for me and wake me up in the morning. secondly, being social is very important because it helps u to communicate better with those people you have never met or seen before. lastly, being adaptable makes you survive even if you are at country you have not go before. According to my relatives and my brother, i know that people in china like to cut queue, spit on the floor, speak loudly and when buying things, the price they gave can be bargained to around half of the price they quote.we can do that in places like beijing and shanghai. I don't know how is the life like in wuhan and the food they usually eat. i'm keen to know and find out more about the life in wuhan. My motive for learning these is to help in survive when i grow up in the social world and working life.

2.my focus is on 'culture' as i'm interested to find out more about the culture in china-wuhan because every country have different culture, for example, china is a big country with many capital. every capital have different culture too.
i have chosen this focus is because i feel that china is a country with many cultures and full of history.

3. QNS. 1) Is it true that people in china speaks loudly even when they are just communicating?
2) what are the kind of life china citizens are having?
3)Is it true that china's traffic is unsafe?
4)Is china filled with rubbish on the floor and people spits whenever and wherever they want?

ANS. 1) china people do speaks loudly when they communicate, they can even communicate from one end to another. they volume that they are going is equal to people screaming and shouting at each other in singapore.
2) i think that in china, money is the most important thing to them. example, they will do whatever they can to earn money. whenever foreigner goes shopping, they will bring they price up to they highest. people here usually eat a lot and they are usually spicy food.
3)the traffic in china is too messy as compared to singapore. there is no divider between the road to seperate the two different ways. driver tend to squeeze whenever there is space infront. they love horning too! i realise that their cars are VERY dirty! you can never see such dirty cars in singapore.
4)i think that everywhere is a rubbish bin on china. they will just throw thing on the floor. therefore, china is very dirty.

4. i want to have more patience, tolerance for discomfort and trust in other people.
firstly, i want to have more patience is because i think patience is very important. it helps you to control yourself better as you will not lose your temper so often.
sencondly, tolerance for discomfort also helps you to control your temper and adapt with life even if it is uncomfortable.
lastly, having trust in other people is how you get friends. if you don't even trust him in the first place, you will never make friend with him.

5. i would like to learn to be more indepent by living myself and do things myself without the help of my family members. to learn to be more socialable, i would like to interact with people whom i don't know more and make friends with them. i think that learning to be more adaptable is the hardest the to learn as we have to go to places we have not been to and not everybody can do that. by coming to china for 6 weeks is a way to learn that as i have not been to china before.

woke up at 12pm today. jayden, peng hoe and yong xin went to somewhere near yellow crane tower to shop for wallets early in the morning and ruched back to dorm. we went to lu xiang shopping mall at around 3pm after they came back from yellow crane tower. it has been raining from morning till night. bad weather. shopped at lu xiang for around 2 hours plus and went to IT mall to buy earpiece, MP3 and mouse pad. came back dorm to pack our things then went to supermarket to buy some local stuffs to bring back. going back to singapore in 2 days time.

free ans easy day today. woke up very late, did some IS assignment and went to fishball restaurant to had our lunch and went back dorm to do IS again. planning to go to the gym in the evening and then go to ' hu quan ' night market straight away. unfortunately, the gym was not open. so no gym today. bought only one adidas shorts today for 20Y. some of them bought it at 35Y. haha. bargain like hell to drop the price to 20Y. marc did a lot of bargaining today. help arvind to bargain all the time as he is an indian. hahaa. had fastfood for dinner. i think this the last time we'll be having dinner there and shopping there. tommorrow we'll be going to ' lu xiang ' shopping mall to shop and tommorrow will be the last free and easy day as we're leaving on tuesday! the weather here is changing to summer very soon. the temperature is similar to the temperature in singapore. no more cold weather.

went to hankou today. booked a van there and back to school.the fare was 20Y per person. reach there at around 12pm and we went to search for a steak house to have our lunch. lunch cost about 50Y. the steak was nice but the wine was not. so we went shopping at that. shopped for around 6 hours and we went back to school. hankou was so big that we could not finish shopping all the shopping malls. did not buy anything today as i do not have much money left. tommorrow will be a day to stay at dorm and complete all our IS assignment.

had interview for my mini project this morning at 1045. my project was a simple one. haha. didn't put in much effort. went to the IT mall to look for earpieces, razor mouse and MP3. i bought only one razor mouse which cost 165Y and is only 37SGD. it is 8 dollars cheaper compared to singapore. went to gym after that and then dinner. ate fried rice from the street stall. lol. gonna go back home soon!

went to somewhere near yellow crane tower for shopping. left dorm at around 1130 and reach there in 40mins time. had steak for lunch and it was very cheap and nice. lol. after lunch, it was already 130 and we continued to shop for 5 more hours and took cab back. bought two pairs of shoe again because it was too cheap and i can't resist the temptation. at last, we took a cab back. we were just too lucky to met a 'smart' driver. he is not even familiar with china. changed to another cab as he don't know how to go to our school. so the overall cab fare was 56.80Y. went to fishball restaurant to have dinner and rush to gym as gym was closing at 9pm. i think that taking a cab in china is quite risky as we don't even know where the driver is driving us to. ha.

had some activities in the morning. think was some outward bound activities. it start at 8 and it actually started at 830. those 'MDE' students were here to join us as well. had quite a lot of fun. tried jumping down certain height. it was very scary. went to gym after that. super shiock. did not gym for the past 4 days. almost the whole dorm was there to gym also. amazing. went to have dinner and had a meeting at 930 which we simply forgotten and was late once again.

went to remedial class at 10am with yongxin, jayden and benson. left the class at around 1145 and proceed to canteen 3 for lunch. went back to dorm to slack after that. took a nap and went running after that. almost all of us went running around the school. then run was around 1 hour time. went to fast food restaurant for dinner.

today was a free day. by right, we were supposed to go to 'valley of beautiful girls and hollow mountain' but it was canceled. so we went shopping instead. wanted to go to 'shi ji guang chang' but this place was a place for people to hold some activities or events. stunned when we reached there and we had no choice but to walk around and ask around. found out that there is a shopping center nearby and we went there. had a haircut with benson and he perm his hair. haha. haircut was 25yuan. proceed to 'hu quan' to shop and had dinner. the grilled 'sotong' there was extremely nice! woo~ its 3yuan per stick.

went to APPG and got back our theory test result. not very well done. manage to get only 62 due to many careless mistake. today's class ends at 12. it was a half day class. went to 'IT' world to get earpiece and have our lunch at MAC. went to lu xiang shopping center, wanted to get a pair of shoe but there is no size for me. no gym for me today and the feeling is good. gonna have 3 days with free and easy. no classes already expect for monday and it is a revision class for the second theory test. soon, i'll leave this place and go back to singapore in 11 days time. woo~

class started at 8am today. exactly the same as yesterday. had IS class then went to canteen 3 for lunch then back to dorm for a nap and went to class again. had IS again in the afternoon for 3 hours. go for dinner then gym with marc and benson. time table was rather packed nowadays as we have to complete everything and there is another theory test coming up. wooo. wanna pass it and pass this module. complete everything. 12 days left in wuhan.

IS class started at 8am today. talked about china for 3 hour plus. then proceeded to canteen 3 for lunch again and went back to dorm to sleep for 1 hour plus. APPG class next at 2pm. teacher was not in class through out. left at 430 and then played basketball with most of the classmates. it was fun! went to gym with marc and benson again. feeling so weak now but shiok at the same time! woo~ i'm starting to get used to life i'm having and the weather here. i'm sure i'm gonna miss this kind of weather when i'm back in singapore. 13 more days to go. gonna make full use of the 13 days.

went for APPG class at 9am today, completed chapter 7 lectutre. the speed is so fast! showed mr ma my lab6. now i'm only done with lab7 part a. lunch was settled at canteen 1 and dinner was settled at dinner. went to play basketball with people in my dorm, diyana, nikki and stephen after dinner. diyana actually counted the score because she is too bored and the score is 62-40. proceeded to gym with marc and benson. the feeling of gyming with them was super shiok! woo~ two more weeks to go.

APPG class started at 10am today. completed chapter 6 during lecture within 1 1/2 hour. did tutorial 6 also. went to KFC for lunch then back to class at 2pm. did lab6 through out the whole lesson. unfortunately, did not complete and had to bring back and finish it. went jogging and gym after class and met marc, benson and jayden for dinner at canteen. that's about all for today.

went jogging in the morning then proceed to computer world to shop for thumb drive. bought a kingston thumb drive for 65yuan with memory of 4GB. by the time we bought the thumb drive, it is already 340pm. so we headed back to school to prepare to go to the BBQ with the china students. the activity was quite fun. however, we went to the nearby restaurant to settle our dinner. we were to go back to the BBQ pit to clear up the mess tomorrow morning 930am because we leave without clearing up.=/ from tomorrow onwards it will be a stressful week. all the assignment must be done by that week.

we are supposed to meet at 815am at the school's main gate to go to hankou. left school only at 840am because the bus was late! traveled around 1 hour plus to reach hankou. were supposed to go to the garden there. unfortunately, the weather is not good. so we end up shopping from 10 to 3pm. bought quite a lot of things there as it is cheap.=/ headed to somewhere near yellow crane tower instead of school to shop again and have dinner. took cab back from there( i dono where is that place also). the fare was 45.50yuan and it was shared by 4 people. there is a meeting at 930pm at mr ma's place. mr chua told us about our teaching plan for the next 2 weeks and i realise that we are going back to s'pore soon! time really flies and i'm in wuhan for one month already. this will be a memorable trip. =)

went to yangtze optical fibre and cable industry this morning at 10am. we were told about how thing were produced there such as the steps. i would know the content only if i had paid attention. i only know that the glass had to be clean first with something before being used. reach school around 12plus after the visit. had lunch with group of friends outside school. thoery test was at 4 pm. test was not very easy. hopefully i can pass.

had IS class in the morning instead of APPG because mr ma was not feeling well. went out for lunch with benson, marc, jayden and yong xin. aPPg class resume in the afternoon. we did revision paper again for tomorrow's theory. hopefully i can make it tomorrow. the test is starting at 4pm as we are going to some factory in the morning. got to meet at the main gate at 950am. hopefully this trip is fun and interesting.

APPG class at 9am today. did tutorial 5 and do lab 5 in the morning. for the afternoon class, we did revision paper for friday's theory test. used around 1 hour to complete that paper and another hour to go through the answers. that's all for today's class. went to 'hu quan' again to shop. bought belts for my brother and handbag for my aunty. food there were delicious. most likely we will go there again if there is a chance.

practical test starts at 10am for my group and we were to reach the classroom by 1020. practical test was not very difficult. had a few mistakes. test ended at around 12pm and we went out of the school to have lunch. after class, we went to ' hu quan ye shi ' again to shop! bought quite a lot of things and had to rush back for meeting at 930pm at mr ma's room.

we are going to the top of wudang mountain today! there are 2 ways to go up there. first is by cable car which we have to pay 50yuan to go up and 45yuan to go down. we waited for 1 hour plus in order to board the cable car to go up. people there were so 'kia su' as the squeeze their way up. this goes to the old and young people. the mountain top was so cooling and the views there was super nice. however, the step there were lousy. very uneven and dangerous. people were much lesser when going down. the journey back was around 6 hours. slept on the bus and reached back school at 930pm. lesson starts at 10 tomorrow. can sleep for one hour more. overall, this is quite a nice trip.

going to wudang mountain today. bus is going off at 7am and i had to wake up at 6am. the journey was around 7 hours and we'll we sleeping at hotel for tonight. when we reached wudang, we toured around some special places there with the buses provided there. the journey from one place to another was around 20mins. most of the places there were temple and there were actually peopple practice 'wushu' there.

as usual, went to APPG class at 9am. completed my lab4 today. afternoon class ended early so we rushed to ' hu quan ye shi ' to shop. there are many many stuffs there. things there were very cheap compared to singapore. all fake stuffs but it look real. need to go off early as there is a meeting at 930pm. tomorrow we'll be going to 'wudan' mountainfor 2 days. i think. hope it will be a nice trip.

woke up early in the morning to attend a business strategy class at 8am-12pm then follow by IS class from 1pm-3pm. we were supposed to go to the computer and electronic center where alot of electronices were sold there. but the price there was not very cheap. was about the same as singapore. bought a molten basketball there for $40RMB (which was 55 at first) which was so cheap! compared to singapore.

went to a steel factory early in the morning at 715am. journey was around 1 hour. we just toured around the factory for 15mins and left. went to lu xiang guang chang after that. had pizza hut for lunch. the price was a little cheaper than singapore. class continues at 3pm-5pm to complete chapter3.

had APPG lesson in the morning and afternoon. nothing much happened. completed chapter 2 for this module and then follow by chapter 3 and practical test is next. class in the afternoon ended early as we have to meet up at 6 for a night party with some china students. the party was kind of funny and its fun towards the end. nice party and it ended at 9.

wake up at 6.30 am to have breakfast at 7am and leave the cruise at 7.30pm. The journey from the three gorges back to school was about 7 hours as we stopped a few times in between to have breaks and do some shopping. after resting for a while and do some unpacking of stuff, we went to play volleyball with a group of classmates. i felt relax after exercising and the feeling is good. During the shopping, i bought a box of tea for my dad which cost RMB148, i hope that he will like it.

Second day on cruise, we were to change boat at 10am to tour around on the river to see the mountain and scenery. The scenery was indeed beautiful. In the evening, we went to the temple which required to climb alot of stairs. The temple look spooky, because of those green lights. Head back to our cruise at 9 and we had our dinner at 9.30pm. I feel that the places that i've visited today is very unique and have many history behind it which make it valuable.

We were asked to meet at the main gate of WUST at 720am, which means that i have to wake up at 0630. we are going to ' three gorges ' for a 3 days 2 nights tour. The journey was around 5 hours from school to three gorges. when i'm in the bus and once it started moving, i was hoping that this 3 days 2 nights trip will be interesting and fun. I think this trip is priceless as it is the first and the last time for me to visit ' three gorges '.

Attended APPG class in the morning and had lunch after class at canteen 3. went out to get windbreaker during the 12-2pm break. Afternoon class was shorten and was released at 3 plus. China students invited us to have a basketball game with them. Initially, i wasn't involved with the game but after the first half, i was dragged to play in the second half. scored quite a lot. Won in the end with the score 54-43. I think that it's quite a nice game and enjoyed it. It's fun.

I had IS class in the morning, then I had to go for a social interaction session with WUST students. We had a chat with them for about 2 hours, after that we had lunch, subsequently, the start of the afternoon lesson, which is still IS. My group did our presentation on history of Wuhan and Singapore. I think that the presentation was not done properly, as we did not prepare well.

Went for class in the morning, did chapter 1 for APPG. I find it strange and hard at first but after awhile, it is quite simple. After class, we went to the nearby supermarket to get some cup noodle. I think that this module is quite complicated towards the end of the module. I feel that the food here are mostly spicy and oily which doesn't really suits our taste.

my lecture on history of Wuhan and Hubei starts at 8am today. we were supposed to do a document which contain the key point of Wuhan and Hubei and submit today. nothing much to do for today's lesson. I feel that i will be able to adopt to the type of live china is having.

There is no activity for us today and we can shop ourselves and do our own thing. We went to " Lu Xiang Guang Chang " at around 12pm. We had our lunch there and stayed there for for around 6 hours. For dinner, we had it at a fishball shop near our school, their fishball is very different from Singapore's, and the food there is also very salty. I think that by having the day without activity is quite good as we can go to places ourselves and learn to be more indepentdant.

Woke up early in the morning to go for a one day trip in wuhan. First, we arrived at a park in wuhan with many nice scenery. We were there for around an hour and were asked to pay 20yuan to take a tram to be taken around. second stop was the museum. It wasn't interesting to me as i'm not really interested. therefore, went out with a group of friends to slack outside the museum. The last stop of the day was the ' yellow crane tower '. scenery there was fantastic and we spent about 3 hours there. I feel that it was quite an interesting one day trip in wuhan as we get to know more about their history

Our first lesson started today, nothing much to do during lesson and two groups are done with their presentation. we played basketball together in the afternoon during the 12-2pm break. Went to KFC for dinner with some classmates. KFC was quite far away from school and it was a 10-15 minutes walk. I think that i have not adapt with the enviroment here and what they usually do which is things like food, behaviour......

Gathered at 8am in the morning at the canteen in WUST to have our breakfast and went back to dom after having to tour around the school. At around 2 pm, we were supposed to go to ' lu xiang guang chang ' by ourselves. The journey towards the shopping mall was around half an hour. My group took the wrong bus back and was ask to alighted at e last stop without knowing that it's already the last stop. In the end, we took cab back to school.

We left Singapore at 8am, arrived at GuangZhou at 11 plus. The temperature at GuangZhou was 12 degree and wasn't very cold. However we arrived at Wuhan at 5pm and reached our hostel at 7pm. Food in the canteen was very cheap compared to singapore. The internet in my hostel wasn't fast. I think that this trip to Wuhan will be memorable as there things which i don't encounter in singapore.
